      One of the most visited places in Bognor Regis has to be the Grade II listed pier. Bognor Regis pier was first opened in 1865, and since then thousands of visitors have walked upon the great Victorian structure to admire the beach views and take in the sea air. Entry onto and into the actual pier is free. 

      Inside of the pier includes the Neptunes family entertainment centre, and Legends sports bar. The pier is normally open everyday from 10am till 8pm however, during high winds and stormy weather the pier may close.

        The Beach on the Beach located on the East Beach promenade is free to use and open during the summer months. Children can enjoy the beach sand even if the tide is in. There is no charge to use the large fenced sand pit, but please observe the signs and stay with your children at all times.

            The Bognor Regis promenade train runs during the summer season from near Whittingtons Bandstand Seafront Kiosk and travels to Butlins. There are pick-up and drop-off points for the land train at Butlins and close to the bandstand. The train runs most days from April to October, depending on the weather. 

            Taking a ride on the promenade land train in Bognor Regis is great opportunity to take in the beautiful views of the English channel.                           Find Fossils on Bognor Regis Beach! Bognor Regis has a unique beach that has an underlayer called London Clay. This layer is very good for fossil hunting, particularly to the west of Bognor Regis Pier on the beach towards Aldwick.

                          The most common fossils to be found are what are called brachiopods, bivalves and worm tubes. These fossils can be found at low tide and on the foreshore and beach at West beach.

                            With parking next to the beach and a seasonal refreshment café serving drinks and hot and cold food, Aldwick beach is a quieter place to spend the day. Aldwick beach is close to the Marine Park gardens, putting green and West Park. The beach is also a good great place to watch and photograph our lovely sunsets. 

                            Aldwick beach is great for some fossil hunting at low tide. This area the coastline has an underlay of London clay.                             There are many designated parking spaces along Marine drive west ajacent to the beach. During the summer months, pay and display parking is required in order to park from one of a number of pay and display machines available.
