Things to do in Bognor Regis

Nestled close to the town center, right by Bognor Regis's tallest building, Fitzleet, you'll find the charming Hothampton Sunken Gardens, a perfect spot to unwind. At the northern end of the gardens, there's a fun play area for children featuring an in-ground trampoline, a climbing frame, and a basket swing, all set on vibrant safety surfacing.

Neptune's is a state of the art Family Entertainment Centre featuring the latest redemption, video and novelty gaming machines for all of the whole family. The Beach on the Beach located on the East Beach promenade is free to use and open during the summer months. Children can enjoy the beach sand even if the tide is in. There is no charge to use the large fenced sand pit, but please observe the signs and stay with your children at all times.

The skateboard park is a small facility close to the beach which has a mini ramp and a number of obstacles to negotiate. There is also a small seasonal café nearby.

The Bognor Regis promenade train runs during the summer season from near Whittingtons Bandstand Seafront Kiosk and travels to Butlins. There are pick-up and drop-off points for the land train at Butlins and close to the bandstand. The train runs most days from April to October, depending on the weather.

The Play on the Beach play area in Bognor Regis is situated along the seafront and features a sea creatures theme. This area is adjacent to the Beach on the Beach sand play area.

The seafront mini golf in Bognor Regis is located in Waterloo Square opposite the pier where you can enjoy the 18 hole mini crazy golf in beautifly kepts gardens. It is loved by all age groups.

The Ice house was initially a component of the Hotham Park Estate. It is believed to have been constructed around 1792 for the purpose of storing and preserving food for the estate. The entrance faces north, and the underground vault would have been paved with pebbles to facilitate drainage, while the vault itself was filled with ice and straw as part of the preservation method.
