Pagham beach is well-known for swimming, yachting (with a yacht club situated right on the beach), and windsurfing. It's also a popular spot for walkers. At the far western end of Pagham beach, you'll find the entrance to Pagham harbour, a wildlife nature reserve area overseen the RSPB. The wetlands and main lagoon of the reserve are excellent for bird-watching. Next to the lagoon is Church Farm Holiday Park. This area is recognized as a site of Special Scientific Interest.
Close by the beach is, Pagham church, which is dedicated to St Thomas à Becket, dates back to the 7th century. Beyond the church, a footpath leads to the north wall of the harbour, which was built in the mid-18th century. Pagham beach also has additional areas of historical significance. Less than a mile offshore, you can see the remnants of a World War II Mulberry Harbour platform, and there are numerous beachfront properties that have been converted from old railway carriages, which were brought to Pagham in the early 20th century. In Pagham, you can find parking just a short walk from the beach, along with various amenities such as cafes, shops, toilets, and dining options.
